2. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotes provided are free of charge and without obligation unless otherwise stated.
- Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Quotes are based on information provided at the time of enquiry. If additional work is required upon inspection, we will notify you before proceeding.
- All prices are quoted inclusive of VAT where applicable. We will clearly state whether VAT is included.
- Fixed-price quotes cover the scope of work described. Any additional work agreed verbally or in writing will be charged separately.
3. Bookings & Cancellations
- Bookings are confirmed upon written or verbal agreement between you and Phase + Flow.
- We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out fee to cover the engineer’s time and travel.
- In the event we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible and will not charge you any fee.
4. Our Services
- All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. You can verify our registration at gassaferegister.co.uk.
- All electrical work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) by appropriately qualified electricians.
- We carry full public liability insurance and employer’s liability insurance.
- We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill, using suitable materials and complying with all applicable regulations.
- Certificates and documentation (e.g. Gas Safe records, EICRs) will be issued as required by law and provided to you promptly on completion.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of work unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, bank transfer (BACS), and card payments.
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required, which will be agreed and confirmed in writing before work begins.
- Invoices unpaid after 14 days from the due date may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Materials & Parts
- Where we supply materials or parts, these remain the property of Phase + Flow until full payment has been received.
- We will always advise you on the most suitable materials for your requirements and budget.
- Where you supply your own materials or parts, we cannot be held responsible for any defects in those materials or for any resulting issues.
7. Complaints
We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve them promptly. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work or service, please contact us:
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 10 working days. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may refer it to an independent dispute resolution service.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability to you in connection with any job or contract shall not exceed the total amount charged for that job.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from our services, except where such loss arises from our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
